The 2008 Festival of the Future
will combine the ancient and modern to one great mega-event
at which over 40 organisations will demonstrate the best of
the past, present and future of science and technology. Bigger
and better than 2007, with more activities for people to get
involved in, this event promises to become a national headliner
for which currently there is no competition. Demonstrations
of classic and heritage vehicles, vintage motorcycle time trials,
Heritage Bus trips to the Science Museum Library (home of famous
works by Newton, Einstein and the Apollo 11 flight log) and
entry to the amazing D4 hangar plus much more.
